Hi, I was born on the east side of Germany and raised in what I now lovingly call the “concrete jungle” of Berlin, an area that struggled in the aftermath of the Berlin Wall’s fall in 1989. Though I was very young at the time, I remember it and became part of the generation that experienced both sides of a divided and reunified country.

Growing up in an underprivileged area of Berlin in the 90s, I had all the odds stacked against me. Poverty was my childhood reality, and as children in school, we were often told what we couldn’t do or achieve. But I’m living proof that statistics can be beaten. A week after finishing high school, I moved to Ireland, put myself through college, studied Humanities, Radio Broadcasting and took a Law course, driven by my dedication to human rights and equality. Though my career path led me into the tech industry, my commitment to advocacy remained constant. Over time, this blend of experience and dedication guided me toward my true purpose.

The lessons of resilience, determination, and the belief that where we start, does not define where we can go, has shaped every step of my journey.

I went on to build my career in the tech industry and after two decades, I knew that behind every success story, every win, every incredible highlight - are also unspoken challenges professionals face. This insight sparked a vision & mission, one that goes beyond technology - to focus on the human side in workplaces.

Through all those years, I’ve experienced numerous successes, promotions, and incredible highs, but I’ve also seen systemic barriers, obstacles, hurdles, roadblocks, glass ceilings and glass cliffs. Challenging the status quo and confronting bias and favouritism in an otherwise amazing profession became my calling. Yet, sacrificing my health and core values was never an option - though at times, I came very close.

I know that, as a professional, asking for help takes immense courage and energy. I also understand why, for many, giving up can feel like the easier option. Finding the resources, finances, or strength to keep going isn’t always possible. As someone who grew up in poverty and with more doors closed than open, I understand those hesitations and concerns firsthand. I genuinely listen because I care and want to help people.

One of the core issues in workplaces, regardless of industry - professionals are often left to figure out what “help” looks like on their own. Despite the need for a supportive environment where voices are heard and problems are acknowledged & solved, the human side of their experience is often overlooked or disregarded. It is a widespread issue. This led me to the idea of creating an inclusive, compassionate community tailored specifically to and for professionals. Ultimately, the goal is to create a safe space where individuals feel comfortable seeking help, paving the way for meaningful change within the workplace and beyond. I truly believe that, together, we can turn obstacles into opportunities and foster a work culture that genuinely prioritises the well-being and success of every professional. Helping professionals thrive, not just survive.

I have also dedicated myself to continuously learning, growing, and expanding my skills to better support others. Over the years, my journey has led me to gain various certifications and experiences that have shaped my approach to leadership, coaching, and professional development. Some of my credentials include: MEDDICC, Trailhead Ranger, Sales Navigator, Deep Sales, Leadership: ManageIn, Inspire Academy, Steer Academy, Peak Academy, and courses completed in Laws and Ethics in the Workplace, PMP, Empathetic & Inclusive Leadership, Coaching, High Impact Teaming, Talent Recruitment, Inclusive Hiring Principles & Practices, and more. While this is by no means an exhaustive list, it reflects key milestones in my professional career and development. I’ve also had the honour of serving as a Coach at Dublin Social Impact and a Mentor for Women at LinkedIn.

Over the last two decades, I’ve taken on several key roles and responsibilities that reflect my commitment to leadership, diversity, and inclusion across various companies. I served as the Operational Excellence Champ for the DE Region and the Equality/Diversity Champ for the CEE Region, where I led initiatives such as launching a webinar series and a 'Woman of the Month' campaign. I’ve shared my insights as a Speaker, Host, and Panelist at numerous external webinars, including hosting 'Your Career in Tech Sales,' speaking at 'Women in Leadership Positions,' and presenting customer tech webinars focused on Marketing, Sales, and Service. Additionally, I hold the Interviewer Certification in Inclusive Hiring Practices, reinforcing my dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.

With warmth, respect, and best wishes, Cindy
